The employment life cycle will at times require coaching and corrective actions. The purpose of coaching is to empower employees through encouragement, instruction, and reiterating the expectations and identifying and addressing misalignments. We will support your leaders in efficiently reinforcing strengths and exploring how to overcome challenges employees are facing. When coaching is expressed and received well, realignment occurs, and this promotes independent thinking and collaborative effort to maintain successful results post coaching. At times the next level is necessary, which is corrective action. Corrective action is a process of communicating with the employee to improve behavior or performance with defined next steps for continued inability to meet performance standards and have appropriate workplace conduct. We will also prepare your leaders for next steps beyond coaching and corrective actions.
